He is survived by: his wife Karen Ellis; his children, Rebecca Gilpin (Bryan) and Jason Ellis (Teresa); his grandchildren, Megan Heffner (Kyle), Madison Gilpin, Kevin Ellis, Brayden Gilpin, Sarah Ellis and Andrew Ellis; his great grandchildren, Ensley and Nolan Heffner; his brother Larry "Butch" Ellis; and his nieces and nephews, LD Ellis, Kelly Ellis and Katie Moses.
