We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2025, at the age of 85, John Carl Pratt DVM (Chesapeake, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Pratt and Edra Pratt (Lynd); and his son William Pratt. He is survived by: his wife Susie Pratt (Miller); his children, David (Crissy), Edward, Trena Pratt (Williams) and Paul Pratt (Alisha Staley); and his grandchildren, Carly Pratt, Sidney Pratt, Hannah Pratt, Hayley Pratt, Rachel Pratt, Allie Malavenda (Pratt), Natalie Pratt, Eli Pratt and Isabelle Pratt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Schneider-Hall Funeral Home (313 Big Branch Rd, Chesapeake, OH 45619). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to local animal shelters or conservation organizations in Dr. Pratt's memory.
