He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hawthorne; his children, Tonya Hagley (Rick) of Chesapeake and Michael Hawthorne (Sandi Moore) of Proctorville; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Hawthorne, Tammy Hawthorne and Dana Lusher.
