He is survived by: his mother Shirley Pleasant; his brothers, Michael Pleasant (Francine) of Hurricane, WV and Maurice, Jr. Pleasant (Kelly) of Reynoldsburg, OH; his aunts, Jean Mickens of Maryland and Susanne Howard of Ohio; and his godmother Maxine Conwell of Ohio.
