She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Stephen Elkins and Rev. Cora McCoy Elkins; her son Tracy Warren Nicely; and her siblings, Gracie Acord, Theresa Tackett, Grady Elkins, Goldie Ulbrich, Greta Watts, Lois Baker, Jackie Elkins, Betty Adkins and Bonnie Jeffery.
She is survived by: her husband Curtis Gene Nicely; her children, Greg Nicely (Sue) of Chesapeake, Mark Nicely (Xiomara) of Hilliard, Jamie Nicely of Chesapeake, Ohio and Shannon Badalamenti of Chesapeake, Ohio; her grandchildren, Tamara Russell (Jason) of Ironton and Coty Nicely (Lea) of Huntington, WV; and her sisters, Audrey Stevens (Charles) of Cincinnati and Wanda Kay Cook of Berea, Ohio. She is also survived by seven other grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hall Funeral Home and Crematory (625 OH-775, Proctorville, OH 45669). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
