He is survived by: his wife Laura June Adkins; his children, William D. Adkins of Norfolk, Virginia, Karen S. Thompson (Sonny) of Chesapeake, Virginia and Ronald W. Adkins (Cynthia) of New Port Richey, Florida.; his siblings, Edward Adkins of Cache and Jane Wilson of Washington Courthouse; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Amanda, Carolyn, Rebecca, Nathaniel, Aaron, Josiah, Heather, Joshua, Kimberly and Jeffrey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
