He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Raymond and Lorene Fern Jolley Nichols; his siblings, Virginia Ray Cheek and John Lewis Nichols; and his sister-in-law Shirley Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Bordwine Nichols of Chesapeake, OH; his children, Andrew David Nichols and Alyssa Rae Nichols of Chesapeake, OH; his sister Lorene Virginia Blevins of Meadowview, VA; his father-in-law John David Bordwine (Ella Rosalie Bordwine); his siblings-in-law, Jenny Bordwine Blevins and Brian Andrew Blevins of Chilhowie, VA; and his sibling's children, Amanda Jane Burke (Ted) of Marion, VA, Christy Eliades (Dan) of Washington, Julianna Halsey (Jarrett) of Mouth, Lucas Blevins of Chilhowie, VA, John Nichols and Allen Cheek.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lewis Memorial Baptist Church (5325 W Pea Ridge Rd, Huntington, WV 25705). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lewis Memorial Baptist Church—located (1358 W Pea Rdg Rd, Huntington, WV 25705).
