William G Groene Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2023, at the age of 87, William G Groene in Chester, Ohio, born in Fairview Park, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Groene and Georgia Groene; and his granddaughter Mandy. He is survived by : his wife Janet Lee Hostetler; his children, Lori Berhent (Bernie), Billy Groene and Susie Vitolo (Tony); his grandchildren, Brandon, Katie Berhent and Emalee Vitolo; his family Cleveland Indians; and his close friend Shirley Vosburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Maple Leaf Community Residences, a non-profit corporation in Geauga County that purchases homes and provides housing for the Developmentally Disabled in the county including Bill's son, Billy Groene.
