Phyllis left this world on July 10, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest "Pete" Crawford and Ruby Parsons Crawford; her son James "Jim" Taylor; her brother Max Crawford; and her great grandchild Colton Dille.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Taylor; her children, Jerry Taylor (DaNielle) of Zanesville, Joe Taylor (Cozra) of Port Orange, FL, Jill Gillespie (Mike) of Chesterhill and Jean Dille (Curt) of Stockport; her brother John Crawford (Patty) of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Curtis "Buster" Dille (Jenny) of Stockport, Jeff Dille of Stockport, Tammy Besser (Glen) of Zanesville, Amy Junn (Trent) of Stockport, Christopher Dille of Stockport, Eric Taylor (Mallory) of Zanesville, Sheldon Gillespie (Courtney) of Malta, Joanna Dille (Scott) of Stockport, Adam Taylor (LaDonna) of Kentucky, Shane Taylor (Audrey) of Kentucky and Sheridan Gillespie (Jenna) of Malta. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home (7465 Marion St, Chesterhill, OH 43728). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the Chesterhill Cemetery.
