Bernice M. Barris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2025, at the age of 104, Bernice M. Barris (Chesterland, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Barris; her grandson Roberto A. Chiari; her parents, Claude Sebek and Nettie Sebek; and her brothers, Norman and Robert Sebek (late Helen).
She is survived by: her children, Susan Chiari (late Rodolfo), Robert J. (late Deborah) and Charles B. (Christine); her grandchildren, Adam B. (Kelley), Ashley B. Kanlic (Elvis), Jonathan F., Christopher B. and Matthew B.; her pet Kitsa; Bernice.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DeJohn Funeral Home and Celebrations Center (12811 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Bernice to the Bernice Barris Scholarship Fund of the Lake Erie 99's and mailed to 1975 Bromton Drive, Cleveland, Ohio 44124.
