Brigitte Averill Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brigitte Averill (Chesterland, Ohio), who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Hoppe and Anna Hoppe; her sister Christel Hofmann (Peter); and her brothers-in-law, Frank Terry and Neal Averill.
She is survived by: her husband Miles; her children, Monique, Stephanie Arnett (Dana) and Steven (Theresa Zagore); her grandchildren, Paul, Joseph Averill, Alexa Ellwood and Alma Arnett; and her sister-in-law Nancy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the DeJohn Funeral Home and Celebrations Center (12811 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026). A prayer will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
