Dave Sterlekar Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dave Sterlekar (Chesterland, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dave left this world on November 1, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Steven; and his parents, Stanley Sterlekar and Esther Sterlekar. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Sherry Parker (Jim), Cindy Knapp (Mark), Davey (Kim) and Crissy Turk (Bill); his grandchildren, Amanda (Adam), Trent, Taylor, Abbey, Anthony, Sammy, Stevie, Connor and Grayce; his great grandchild Blake; and his siblings, Susan Tegel (AI) and Sandy Johnson (Don).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gattozzi & Son Funeral Home (12524 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Angels (18205 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023). A burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at the All Souls Cemetery (10366 Chardon Rd, Chardon, OH 44024).
