He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Gierman (Rebecca) and Randy Gierman (Shelley); his grandchildren, Julia, David and Nicholas; his brother Charles Gierman; his siblings-in-law, Ollie Smiley and Carol Smiley; and his pet Charley.
