She was predeceased by: her parents, Hedwig Wichter (Hendriok) and Erich Wichter; her husband Alois Manherz; and her siblings, Helga Kerler, Werner Wichter and Klaus Wichter.

She is survived by: her children, Peter J. Manherz (Linda) of Lynden and Karen H. Staral (John) of Woodbury, Minnesota; her grandsons, Christopher Staral (Lilly) and Brian Manherz; her great grandchildren, Brenna, Delaney and Keira; her caregiver Hans Wichter of Kirtland; and her brother Siegfried Wichter (Tamara) of Wiggensbach, Germany..
