Alice Grieshop Obituary
The memory of Alice Grieshop of Chickasaw, Ohio, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert W. Fiely and Florentine Fiely (Jutte); her husband John F. Grieshop; her children, Maurice Grieshop and Mary Evelyn; her siblings, Wilma, Joe Barhorst, Margie and Cyril Gehret; and her in-laws, Rita, Romie Schoenlien, Mary, Larry Bruns, Dick Rogers, Josie Grieshop, Butch, Barb Grieshop and Carol Schmiesing.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard (Nancy Grieshop), Harold (Marilyn Grieshop), Marilyn (Mark Turner), Theresa (Carl Lochtefeld), Maria Stein, Andrew Grieshop, Daniel (Carla Grieshop), Phyllis Grieshop and Betty (Trent Butler); and her siblings, Ruth, Orville Kunk, Philothea, Lavern, Jane Fiely, Bernadine Grieshop, Joan Rogers, Mason, Eddie Grieshop, McCartyville, Angie, Bill Platfoot and Jan Schmiesing. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home (61 S Hanover St, Minster, OH 45865). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Precious Blood Catholic Church (35 Maple St., Maria Stein, OH 45860).
