He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Homan and Justina Homan (Steinlage); his son Robert Homan; his granddaughter Renee Bergman; his sister Delores (Neal Wolters); his parents-in-law, Aloys and Helen Poeppelman; and his in-laws, Ernest Poeppelman, Arlene, Henry Fortkamp, Paul Brown and Kay Poeppelman.
He is survived by: his children, Linda (Jacob Buschur), Elaine (Neal Siefring), Karen (Nick Siefring), Dean (Lynn Homan), Tricia (Steve Barlage) and Jeff (Renee Homan); and his in-laws, Virginia Poeppelman of Yorkshire, Ruth Brown of Wapakoneta, Janice, Don Marchal of Versailles, Jim Poeppelman of Versailles, Joe, Margie Poeppelman of Vandalia, Mary and Gary Dean of Troy. He is also survived by His extended family includes 31 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
