She was predeceased by: her parents, Royal Shoemaker and Sadie Shoemaker; her son Paul; her children-in-law, Jan Litter, Beth Litter and George "Bud" Mark III; her grandchildren, Crystal Mark and Benjamin Josiah Litter; her great grandchild Alice Lloyd; and her siblings, Hester, Myrl, Leroy, Ralph Shoemaker, Mildred Compher and Ruth Crites.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Litter; her children, Sally Mark, Art Litter (Ann "Tweed"), Mark Litter (Denise), Martin Litter, Molly Lloyd (Byron), Laura Litter, Joe Litter (Kim) and Pete Litter; and her daughter-in-law Ann Litter. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
From the hardships of the Great Depression and the sacrifices of World War II to the Civil Rights Movement, to her own brother being sworn in as Ohio's Lt Governor, to the tragedy of 9/11, and even a global pandemic, her memories offered a remarkable connection to the past.
