He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry DeVore and Eleanor Dunn DeVore; his wife Joyce Colleen DeVore (Keairns); his brother Paul W. DeVore; and his siblings-in-law, Richard L. Hixson and Dolores E. Keairns Hixson.
He is survived by: his family, Bill Hixson (Linda) of The Plains, OH, Nancy Lusher (Jim) of Bidwell, OH and Bob Hixson (Vickie); his close friend Marge Frump of Chillicothe, OH; his caregiver Cindy Bowles of Chillicothe, OH; and his sister-in-law Eleanore C. "Connie" DeVore.
