She was predeceased by: her parents, Beryl Mitchell and Helen Wolfe Mitchell; her sons, Darold and Thomas Matthews; and her siblings, Jim Mitchell and Jane Marie Mitchell.
She is survived by: her son Robert Matthews of Chillicothe; and her sisters, Leora Matthews of Chillicothe and Donna Ward of Muscatine, IA.. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
