He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Adams and Betty Taylor Adams; his grandson Hunter; and his sisters, Carol Ann Schauseil and Brenda Sue Kimbler.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Pritt of Chillicothe, Curtis Adams, Jr. of Chillicothe, Terisha Cox of Chillicothe, Joshua Adams of Chillicothe, Matthew Adams of Chillicothe and Khristian Adams of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Gage, Zakairah, Kayley, Kaylynn, Corsica, Audrey, Madison, Jacob, Sophilia, Jayden and Curtis III; his great grandchild Kayson; and his sister Pamela Mayo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
