He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Franklin Congrove, Sr. and Isabel Lily Congrove (Kerns); his in-laws, Harrison and Carrie Lunsford; his son Daniel Congrove; his brother Billy Joe Congrove; his son-in-law Mike Hoffman; and his sister-in-law Alice Congrove.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Congrove (Lunsford); his children, Cheryl E. Hoffman and Thomas M. Congrove (Kerry); his grandchildren, Jenny Rose (Blake), Kim Graham (Greg), Danny Congrove (Paige), Brian Hoffman, Jamie Coates (Adam), Thomas J. Congrove (Michelle) and Mitchell Congrove; his great grandchildren, Kalynn Spindler (Benjamin), Josh Rose (Kara), Jake Rose, James Ditmar (Hanna), Ellerie, Keaton, Fletcher Graham, Lane, Hallie, Luke Congrove, Jocie, Cyrus Coates and Wyatt Hoffman; his siblings, Roy Congrove, Joyce Bivens and Dean Congrove; his sisters-in-law, Patty Congrove and Wilma Boyd; and his pet Blue. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hill Funeral Home (24 W Ing St, Kingston, OH 45644). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
