He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ned Porter, Francis Clyde Porter and Winona Jane Pummell (Porter); and his sisters-in-law, Clara (Bowdle) and Joyce E. Amyx of Greenfield, OH.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Kay Cook of Greenfield; his children, Sara Winters (David) of Powell, OH and Darren Porter (Carol Lewis Webb) of Springfield, OH; his grandsons, Jack Hemphill of Hilliard, OH and Caleb Porter of Grove City, OH; his sister-in-law Carol F. Wobser of Cincinnati, OH; his child Marching Band; Naomi Jean Bumen (North Carolina). He is also survived by his children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Springbank United Methodist Church, 23871 State Route 104, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
