He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Scott and Mary Scott; his stepfather Russ Gerhard; his sisters, Marilyn Cross and Nancy; and his brothers-in-law, Glenn Jenks and Bob Schwarzbach.
He is survived by: his children, Becky George (Mike), Dave Scott and Steve Scott (Gail); his grandchildren, Dominic, Mary, Anthony, Alex and Katie; his siblings-in-law, Dick Cross, Linda Schwarzbach Zook (George) and Karen Schwarzbach; and his nieces and nephews, Beth McNamara (Dan), Jim Schwarzbach (Roberta), Christie Schwalbe (Kevin), Shelley Cross (Tunde Raheem) and Mike Jenks (Leah).
