She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Zonner and Doris Zonner (Irwin); her husband Elwood Cook; her daughter Carolyn F. Swank; and her sister Lucille Merrill.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah J. (Darrel), Linda I. Cook (Paul Carpenter), Michael E. Cook (Eleanor) and Christopher L. Cook (Jean); her son-in-law Robert Swank; and her siblings, Bea Gallaugher and Lawrence Zonner. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (643 Eastern Ave, Chillicothe, OH 45601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eleanor's name to the Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library or the Lucy Webb Hays House.
