We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ernie A. Skaggs of Chillicothe, Ohio, born in Ross County, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Landon Skaggs and Reba Messer Skaggs; his sons, Kyle R., Kendall R. and Kevin R. Skaggs; and his siblings, Betty Gillum, Cheryl Rucker and Ferris "Buck" Skaggs.

He is survived by : his daughter Kelley Park (Stephen R.) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Katrina Watson (Ray), Stephen Park (Erica), Amanda Hartley (Bruce) and Sydney Cooksey (Josh); his great grandchildren, Ranger, Avery, Emerson Park, Maddisyn and Jaxson Beedy; and his sisters, Linda Basye of Murrells Inlet, Lorrie Skaggs of Murrells Inlet, Sue Montgomery of Waverly and Janet Strawser of Chillicothe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
