We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2025, at the age of 83, Evelyn Ankrom Lovensheimer of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Harry Jr. Ankrom and Evelyn Ankrom; her husband David W. Lovensheimer; her great grandchild Xander A. Martin; and her half-brother Richard Hall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Martin (Jack Jr.), Ann-Marie Shaffer and Rebecca Hatfield (William); her grandchildren, Jack Martin, III (Cassady), Joshawa Martin (Samantha Kuntz), Evan Shaffer (Nikki Hampp), Bryce Shaffer (Tabitha), Jonsea Hatfield (Jacob Brooks) and Felicia Steele; her great grandchildren, Jackson Martin (Kacey Darling), Jaylynn Martin, Joshawa "Ryan" Martin, II, Samuel Martin, Sebastian Martin, Lincoln Shaffer, Preslie Shaffer, Clark Shaffer, Lucia Shaffer, Addison Hampp, Reese Lawson, Addyson Martindale, Link Stewart and Phoenix Hughes; her sisters, Donna Brucoli, Judy Kuntzman (Andrew) and Sonnie Young (Melvin); her sisters-in-law, Marsha Fout, June Lovensheimer and Margie Lovensheimer; Evelyn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
