He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester John and Elsie Mae Brenning; his brothers, Dale Brenning and Jack Brenning; and his sister-in-law Carol Hixon.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Brenning (Hixon); his children, Robert Brenning (Laurie), Ryan Brenning (Julie) and Katherine McDonald; his stepchildren, Craig Fry (Kim) and Mitzi Green (Ron); his stepgrandchildren, Hunter Fry, Heather Fry, Emma Green and Lance Green; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Brenning, Carolyn Brenning, Beth Hixon and Paul Hixon.
In his honor, memorial contributions can be made to the Ross County Humane Society.
