He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sherwood (Rideout); his sons, Matthew Sherwood (Rene) and Jeremy Sherwood; his grandchildren, MaKayla, Keelan and Josie; his great grandchildren, CJ and Athena; and his siblings, Larry, Sue (Norm) and Scott (Ruby).

In honor of Gary's generosity, the family requests that donations be made to the Richmond Dale Church of God Building Fund in lieu of flowers.
