He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Buckner and Lillie Stevens Buckner; and his spouse Shirley Magill. He is survived by: his children, James E. Buckner, Jr. (Joy Ream), Penny Johnson (Tracy) of Chillicothe, Sandra Kellough (Eric) of Chillicothe and Jennifer Oaks (Alan) of Chillicothe. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
