He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Gaston and Nellie Harsha Gaston; his sister Katie Lee Wakeford; and his daughter-in-law Christin Gaston. He is survived by: his wife Martha Brundige; his children, Joan G. Manchester (Doug) of Chillicothe, John B. Gaston (Sue) of Pawleys Island, SC and Jim Gaston of California, MD; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hayden (Corey) and Max Gaston (Julie); his great grandchildren, Paxton, Reed, Callie and Sawyer Hayden; and his caregivers, Sarilda Adkins, Gwen Brodess, Kelly Garner, Mackenzie Rinehart, Stannay Smith, Courtney Frey, Rachel Strange, Mistee Lemaster and Andrea Walters. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and several extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church 13 Meade Drive Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
