He was predeceased by : his parents, John and Mary Heasley, Sr. (Winer); and his wife Mary Louise Payne. He is survived by : his children, Michelle Heasley (Darrell Tennant) and Johnathan Heasley McArthur (Amanda Yeater). He is also survived by step-daughter, and a step-son, both of Columbus; 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
