He was predeceased by: his parents, John Virgin and Monnie Virgin (Justice); his wife Betty Ruth Virgin (Jones); his son Ricky L. Virgin; and his siblings, Phyllis Ely, Gloria Williamson, Eula Crace, Robert Virgin and Garry Virgin.
He is survived by: his sisters, Bonnie Weinrich (Philip) and Cathy Eaton (Charles); his children, John A. Virgin, Rodney E. Virgin (Regina), David D. Virgin and Cynthia A. Cox (Marty); and his grandchildren, David Lee, Ashley, Tonya, Ryan, Russell, Tara, Rachel and Kayla. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
