We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 70, Kenneth L. Downs Sr. of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Kenneth may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard W. "Wes" Downs and Patricia A. Boggess Downs; and his brother Timothy Downs. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth L. Jr. Downs (Nikki) of Nashville, TN and Katie Atwood (Cory Vickers) of Chillicothe; his grandsons, Jacob, Joshua, Isaac, Joseph Downs, Benjamin and Brody Atwood; and his siblings, James Downs (Toni) of Clover, S. C. and Becky Graves of Chillicothe.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
