Though Larry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Larry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ison and Hester Blevins Ison; and his brother Lewie Edison Ison. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sue Tussey Ison; his daughters, Suetta Coello (Jack) and Melissa DesMarais (John); his grandson Wyatt Finn Wolfe; his sister DeLee Porter (Ed); and his brother-in-law Bob Tussey (Linda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was deeply involved in his community, managing fundraising efforts such as the Bike-a-Thon for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and campaigns for the American Cancer Society.
