It is with sadness that the passing of Lorene Coleman Washington (Chillicothe, Ohio) is shared. Lorene, born on May 5, 1939, passed away on June 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Edward Coleman and Lucille Coleman; and her sisters, Edna Burton and Walterine Moore. She is survived by: her children, Sheena "Queen" Washington and Clyde "Champ" Washington II; and her sisters, Margaret Ann Kimmon of Rock Island, Lucille Spears (Reginald) of Jackson, Jean Kerney (Willie) of Chillicothe and Elizabeth Milliner of Troy, Ohio. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, lifelong friends.
She also served on the Peter Blosser Foundation, the Ross County Juvenile Review Board, and was a charter member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ross County.
