He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard M. Pittenger and Wanda G. Pittenger (Richards); his brothers, Barry and Tim Pittenger; and his parents-in-law, Carolyn and Donald Sheppard.
He is survived by: his children, Stefanie Wright, Paul Pittenger, Seth Pittenger (Bretney), Jennifer Washington (Bobbie), Aaron Pittenger and Tiffany Boggs (Tim); his grandchildren, Dimitrious, Kali and Payton Burgin; his children, Taquan, Nyla Wright, Ali Thomas, Emma, Kellan, Noelle Washington, Mia Pittenger, Katie McAllister, Daniel Diehl (Andrea) and Caleb Sheppard (Alice); his grandchildren, Kerrigan, Brennan, Owen, Calie and Carolyn; his sister Paula White (Rocky); his friend Shirley Pittenger; and his siblings-in-law, Eric Sheppard, Adam Sheppard (Leanna) and Lisa Sheppard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and his K9 companion and best friend.
