He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Ailene Hill Rice; his wife Sandee Burden Rice; and his father Homer Charles Rice. He is survived by: his children, Michael Shane Rice of Chillicothe, Melinda Rice of Chillicothe and Jaimi Weaver of Florida; and his grandchildren, Tyler Michael Rice, Kyla Michelle Rice and Briana Nichole Sherman. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
