As Ola departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ola may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ola leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbern Burkhalter and Gertrude Burkhalter (Jones); her son Eric Gibson; her stepmother Eula Burkhalter; and her brother Mallory Burkhalter.
She is survived by: her son Craig Gibson; and her siblings, Wayne Burkhalter and Connie Burkhalter.
