He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur B. Wolfe and Hulda Lowery Wolfe; and his sisters, Esther Mercer and Ruth Ann Detty. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughter Linda Kathleen "Kathy" Downard of Wellston; his granddaughter Brandi Ann Wejman (John); and his great grandchildren, Emmerson, Julianna and Cooper Wejman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home (201 W High St, McArthur, OH 45651). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Wolfe Cemetery Road Wolfe Cemetery.
