Peggy Gallagher Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025, at the age of 93, Peggy Gallagher of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Peggy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Peggy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Peggy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lee "Duck" Acord, Sr. and Helen Louise Acord (Chaney); her husband Harold E. Gallagher; her brother Howard Lee Acord, Jr.; and her niece Helen Cheryl Evans (Click).
She is survived by: her daughter Billie Jo Gallagher. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
