He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy J. Liberty Kidnocker; his wife Lora E. Kidnocker; and his sister Linda Lucas. He is survived by: his father Robert E. Kidnocker of Chillicothe; his children, Peter Shane "Pete" Kidnocker, II (Taylor), Jason Kidnocker (Amy) of Chillicothe and Krystal Barber (Craig) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Peter, III, Ashtyn, Jakob, Hope, Peyton, Adrianna, Kinsley, Jaxson, Emery and Abram; his siblings, Karie L. Barber (William) of Chillicothe and Robert E. Kidnocker, III of Chillicothe; and his aunts, Helena Brockmeyer (Kay) and Janice Sigler Carpenter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
