Phyllis Cutlip Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Cutlip in Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Roth (Greene) and Karl Roth; her husband Charles McCoy Heiss; her son Steven K. Heiss; her granddaughter Briana Blazer; her siblings, Robert Lael and Judith Roth-Bumbico; her nephew Bryan Bumbico; her stepfather Robert E. Gheen Sr.; and her stepdaughter Lynne Oman.

She is survived by: her children, Charles D. Heiss (Lora) and Monique Heiss-Blazer; her grandchildren, Carrie-Heiss Hartsaugh (Jamie), Tyler Speakman (Chandra Dean), Kelsey-Heiss Penrod (Jared), Haden Heiss and Jacob Heiss; her niece Mary Elizabeth Bumbico-Waleisky; and her stepson Chistopher Cutlip (Lisa). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; several great-nieces.
