Purle R. Detty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2025, at the age of 98, Purle R. Detty of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Purle farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Purle is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Riddle and Mazie Riddle (Thomas); her husband Ray Detty; and her son Timothy Detty.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens (4284 US-23, Chillicothe, OH 45601).
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Ross County Humane Society 2308 A Lick Run Road Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
