She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. Porter and Mary Porter (Melton); her son-in-law Mack McClure; and her siblings, W. L. Porter (Lynn), Sonley Porter (Vera), John Joe Porter (Shirley), Alvin Porter (Sharon), Dorothy Melton (Robert), Lillie Burrell (Carlos) and Betty Ann Dietrich (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Jeanita McClure, Edward Elliott Jr. (Cheryl) and Alisha McCollister (Clint); and her sister Catherine Sutherland (Robert). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
