He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Hopper and Iva Ogan Hopper; his wife Patricia J. Hollis; his former wife Evelyn Graves Hopper; his sisters, Clarice Malone and Judith Cyrus; his brother-in-law David Cyrus; and his niece Bev Elliott.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Theresa Perry, Clarissa Black, John Cyrus, Betsy Essig, Melissa Donahue, Stephen Cyrus and Rebecca Colegrove; his brother-in-law Darrell Malone; and his close friend Jerry Bruning. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews; and many friends.
