He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Woods and Patricia Worthen Woods. He is survived by: his wife Julie Bethel; his sons, Richard Woods, Jr. (Sherri) of Chillicothe and Jacob Woods (Whitney) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Beckett Woods and Piper Woods; his brother Rodney Woods (Shirley) of Chillicothe; and his brothers-in-law, Jason Bethel (Janie) of Chillicothe and Doug Bethel (Melissa) of Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ware's to help the family.
