He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolores June Konkler (Nabergoll) and Harold Konkler; his children, Frankie D. Slone and Laurie Grey; and his granddaughters, Jessica Johnson and Kristin Doss.

He is survived by: his significant other Barbara S. Konkler (Brewer); his sister Cindy Thompson (Rick) of Thornville; and his children, April Heather Konkler of Chillicothe, Lloyd A. Doss (Paula) of Frankfort, Melissa D. Gutierrez (Tony) of Galena and Whitney F. Ritz of Chillicothe. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
