He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Irvin and Vallie V. Irvin (Bragg); his daughters, Julie Irvin and Cynthia Allensworth; and his siblings, Everett, Jr., Ophrey, Elwin, Carroll, Marlin, Dwight Irvin, Lucille Detty and Carlene Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Irvin (Tina) of Jackson, James Irvin of Bainbridge, Mark Irvin (Rebecca) of Chillicothe, Jonathan Irvin of Orient and Amy Sutherland of Chillicothe; and his siblings, Larry Irvin, Clark Irvin (Elaine) of Bainbridge and Gayle Irvin of Chillicothe. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
