Rowena Harrell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rowena Harrell of Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Pierce and Florence Rinehart Pierce; her husband Ernest Eugene "Gene" Harrell; and her siblings, Ruby, Alice, Elizabeth, Viola, Maxine, Sara, Delcia, Richard, Dane, Homer, George, Jack, Donald and Johnny.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Wright (Giachinta) of Chillicothe, Carolyn McCloskey (Charles) of Chillicothe and Ernest Eugene "Gene" Harrell, Jr. (Jami) of Chillicothe; and her sister Clara Thomas of Waverly. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Huntington Township Cemetery (1501 Liberty Hill Rd #1205, Chillicothe, OH 45601).
