He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Lucille Burns Sr. (Wooldridge); and his siblings, Charles E. Burns Jr. and Mildred A. Seymour. He is survived by: his wife Freda Christine Burns (Oyer); his daughters, Starla Flautt (Roger) of Chillicothe, Regina Davis (Michael) of Frankfort and Cheryl Mendez; his grandchildren, Chrisy Danison (Kurt), Jonathan Martin (Tim), Stephen Flautt (Kayla), Ashley Meador (Spencer), Nikki Claytor (Andy), Mashell Hall (Matthew), Mason Smith, Kyle Halsey, Chelsea Halsey and Allison Mendez; his great grandchildren, Aidyn, Chase Danison, Matthew Martin (Carson), Nicholas Martin, Grace, Margaret Flautt, Jordan Thomas, Riley Claytor, Sheldon and Camden Hall; and his brother Larry G Burns (Sherry).
